Hi everyone, Just sending you an email about our new life here in Bradenton Florida. We start every day waking up to our sunny view of Sarasota Bay. We are really enjoying life now that there’s no lawn to mow and definitely no snow to shovel! Most days we drive across the bridge to Anna Maria for breakfast at Minnie’s Beach Cafe. Then we take a nice long walk on the beach to collect some shells. Sometimes we take a ride on the island trolley just to sight see. Yesterday we rode up to the City Pier for lunch and to watch the dolphins and manatees. We bought some fishing poles at a yard sale so we can have some fun fishing at the Rod N Reel Pier tomorrow. We love to shop at the beach market on Coquina Beach and then drive down for lunch at St. Armand’s Circle. Last week we joined the tennis league and practiced our putting on the Mount Vernon putting green. It’s so much easier to get out and get some exercise down here so we’re both losing weight too! The book club starts up again once the snowbirds start coming back. We even signed up for some dance lessons on Friday night! Have to run now. It’s time for a bike ride to Tide Tables for a grouper sandwich! WISH YOU WERE HERE!
